Patrice Lim

Hanshi Patrice Lim

Hanshi Patrice Lim was born in Rockford, Illinois in 1958 to Tom and Mary Lou Clift. She was raised in Vista, California, with her three brothers and one sister.

Together with her teacher and husband, George Lim, she directs and operates Lim Family Martial Arts.

She started her training in Hawaii Kenpo in 1983 under George Lim.

In 1991 she was promoted to black belt by “Chief” Al Tejero of CHA-3 Kenpo Karate Brotherhood Club of Hawaii, San Diego chapter & Grand Master Julian Generalao.

Hanshi Patrice Lim was promoted to black belt in 1993 by George Lim. Her senior rank promotions 5th through 7th came directly from Sijo Adriano Emperado & Grandmaster Xizu Allen Abad. In 2008 she was promoted to 8th degree Professor by George Lim.

At present Hanshi Lim continues her training under George Lim and trains under Dai Shihan, Soke, “Uncle” Ted Tabura in Kobudo Katana weaponry. Hanshi Lim also practices traditional Chinese Medicine healing arts under Great Grandmaster Vince Black. She takes advisement and consultation from Olohe “Papa Sol” Kaihewalu.

Hanshi Patrice loves her Ohana with four grand keikis and two baby Akitas, Pono & Maile.
